SWAN
the symbol of a wise buddhist which is known for its beauty, grace,and intelligent. when the swan takes in food from the pond, she is able to distinguish & pick up the food and cart away the rubbsh
SWAN HOLDING A LOTUS BUD
A wise buddhist still unenlightened, but aspire for Nibbana
DIAMOND
symbolises the triple gems, Buddha, Dhamma and the Sangha
DHAMMACAKKA-THE WHEEL OF LAW
symbolises the noble teaching of our lord buddha-the four noble truth and the eight fold path. It represents that very first discourses addressed to the first five monks.
SWASTIKA
symbolises blessings or auspiciousness,it is also a body sign found on the buddha as a mark of a great man.
METTA, KARUNA, MUDITA AND UPEKKHA
the four brahma vihara meditation of protection.An aspirant of the path needs to cultivate the spiritual values as protection and well-being in this world

we are blogging now on a dining table of bhante! uncle ananda finally told us to create a blog for the upekkha class. WE DID THIS IN ONE DAY!! 3 cheers for upekkha class!!
